Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
ScoreProMax ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our exam-preparation platform, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it.
Information we collect
We collect only what the product actually needs to work.
- Account information: your name, e-mail address and a password stored only as a secure hash.
- Profile information: date of birth, nationality, target country, intended field of study and your exam goals — all optional and editable at any time.
- Study activity: your answers, scores, time spent, attempt history and, where you record them, Speaking responses and Writing submissions.
- Payment information: payment is coordinated manually through our support channels. We do not collect or store card or bank details on the platform.
- Technical information: browser type, operating system and IP address, used for security and error diagnosis.
How we use your information
- To provide the tests, analytics and score projection you signed up for.
- To personalise recommendations from your own recorded results — never from guesses.
- To process the access you have purchased and to notify you about your orders and expiry.
- To keep your account secure and to investigate abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your study work to train third-party models.
Automatic evaluation of Speaking and Writing
When automatic review is enabled, your Speaking recording is transcribed and your Writing response is analysed to produce a ScoreProMax practice estimate. The estimate is a preparation aid, never an official score. If automatic review is switched off or unavailable, your response is still saved and the interface says so plainly.
What a linked parent can see
A parent can only be linked when the student issues a code from their own account. A linked parent sees progress summaries: the score projection, study consistency, skill statuses and recent results.
A linked parent never sees your recordings, your essays, your per-question answers or your private notes. This boundary is enforced by the server, not by convention. The student can revoke a parent's access at any moment, and revocation takes effect immediately.
Data sharing
- Service providers: hosting and, where enabled, the automatic-evaluation provider. They process data on our instructions only.
- Legal requirements: when we are required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
- Business transfers: if the service is ever transferred, your data moves under the same commitments.
Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your account and the data attached to it.
- Export your data.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time.
To exercise any of these, contact us through the Help page or the contact form.
Data security and retention
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored as salted hashes, and the production database is backed up daily with verified restores. We keep your study data for as long as your account exists, so your history and projection stay meaningful; when you delete your account, that data is deleted with it.
